Two (2) years of related experience preferred.<\/p>\r\n<p>Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of clients, staff and individuals in the community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to work diplomatically in order to gain and maintain professional relationships with various community partners and contacts<\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment<\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to express complex information and ideas both verbally and in writing.<\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to work within agency mission, philosophy and policies\/procedures.<\/p>\r\n<p>Must have a reliable vehicle and meet agency driving policy requirements, including a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance. Ability to obtain Class D driver license. Local travel required<\/p>\r\n<p>General physical requirements include but are not limited to: bending, stooping, climbing stairs, prolonged sitting of more than 4 hours.<\/p>\r\n<h2>ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<\/h2>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Clinical<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Conduct initial assessments for clients to determine resource needs<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Facilitate client development of social supports, safety plans and service plans<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Collaborate with other community partners and social service agencies to seek and obtain services for clients<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Conduct weekly life skills group<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Provide recommendations to clinical staff for housing programs<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Provide client transportation as needed to community locations<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Attend and participate in weekly clinical staffing meetings<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Conduct morning meetings (Monday-Friday) with all shelter residents to assess needs and progress<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Aid shelter residents in need of relocation outside of service area<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Collaborate with Crisis Counselor to carry out effective services to clients<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Make appropriate client referrals for continued services upon discharge<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Agency Compliance<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain comprehensive and organized files utilizing the automated data and case management system<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to the agency\u2019s confidentiality policies, maintaining a high-level standard of confidentiality<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Compile and accurately report all applicable program statistics and educational activities on time and as directed<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Report any known or suspected child abuse to immediate supervisor<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Report any suspicious activity or persons<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Attend and participate in agency staff meetings and trainings<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Report to work on time as scheduled<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Perform all other duties and\/or participate in special projects as assigned by direct supervisor or Chief Executive Officer.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Other Duties<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Participate in hurricane evacuation and facility preparation.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>In case of emergencies and extreme circumstances, will be required to assist with 24-hour shelter coverage<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Work in conjunction with other program components and staff to ensure effective communication of agency and client concerns, recommendations, and needs<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Apply NowSend resumes to jobs@gccfn.orgor fax 228-435-0513 Attn: KimSTATUS: Non-exempt LOCATION: Jane\u2019s House IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Client Services Manager HOURS: : Full-Time 40-hour workweek Monday &#8211; Friday, some evening and weekend work may be required.
