IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:<\/strong>\u00a0Children’s Services Manager<\/p>\r\n

HOURS:<\/strong>\u00a0: Full-time Mon-Friday: 11:00 AM \u2013 7:00 PM, Some additional evening and weekend work may be required. <\/p>\r\n

SUMMARY:<\/strong>\u00a0Provide onsite childcare services for residential and nonresidential clients<\/p>\r\n

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>\u00a0Must be 21 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in childcare setting preferred.<\/p>\r\n

Must be able to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups of clients.<\/p>\r\n

Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment<\/p>\r\n

Ability to work within agency mission, philosophy and policies\/procedures. <\/p>\r\n

Must have a reliable vehicle and meet agency driving policy requirements, including a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance. Travel may be required. <\/p>\r\n

General physical requirements include but are not limited to: bending, stooping, climbing stairs, prolonged sitting of more than 4 hours. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO<\/h2>\r\n

Childcare Services<\/h3>\r\n
    \r\n
  • Provide on-site childcare services for residential and nonresidential clients<\/li>\r\n
  • Provide support\/respite services to residential parents <\/li>\r\n
  • Provide transportation to off-site programs, school, and\/or summer camps as needed<\/li>\r\n
  • Follow guidelines outlined in the Incredible Years curriculum. <\/li>\r\n
  • Maintain daily logs of children receiving childcare and provides data to appropriate staff<\/li>\r\n
  • Provide positive and encouraging support to children receiving services <\/li>\r\n
  • Inform the Children\u2019s Services Manager of any children with special needs<\/li>\r\n
  • Inform parents of children\u2019s progress <\/li>\r\n
  • Provides homework assistance as needed <\/li>\r\n
  • Coordinate events with Children\u2019s Department staff<\/li>\r\n
  • Attend Children\u2019s Department staff meetings<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    Agency Compliance<\/h3>\r\n
      \t\r\n\t
    • Adhere to the agency\u2019s confidentiality policies, maintaining a high level standard of confidentiality<\/li>\t\r\n\t
    • Report any known or suspected child abuse to immediate supervisor.<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Report any suspicious activity or persons.<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Attend and participate in agency staff meetings and trainings.<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Report to work on time as scheduled.<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Maintain a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance.<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Perform all other duties and\/or participate in special projects as assigned by direct supervisor or Chief Executive Officer.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Other Duties<\/h3>\r\n
        \r\n\t
      • Participate in hurricane evacuation and facility preparation.<\/li>\r\n\t
      • In case of emergencies and extreme circumstances, will be required to assist with 24-hour shelter coverage<\/li>\r\n\t
