Two (2) years of related experience preferred.   <\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to work diplomatically in order to gain and maintain professional relationships with various community partners and contacts <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to be empathetic and skilled in active listening<\/p>\r\n<p>Ability to navigate the criminal justice system <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to be on call for emergency referrals 24\/7 <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to express complex information and ideas both verbally and in writing. <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to present with a strong aptitude for building relationships <\/p> \r\n<p>Ability to work within agency mission, philosophy and policies\/procedures.  <\/p> \r\n<p>Must have a reliable vehicle and meet agency driving policy requirements, including a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance.  Local travel required <\/p> \r\n<p>General physical requirements include but are not limited to:  bending, stooping, climbing stairs, prolonged sitting of more than 4 hours.  <\/p>\r\n<h2>ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<\/h2>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Clinical<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provides crisis response to area hospitals for survivors of sexual assault <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Provides advocacy and case management for victims with law enforcement, courts, and medical staff <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Conduct assessments of victims\u2019 immediate threat of harm <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Collaborate with other community partners and social service agencies to seek and obtain services and support for clients <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Provide client transportation as needed to community locations <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Accompany clients to court proceedings and law enforcement interviews, as needed. <\/li>\t\r\n<li>Serve as liaison with community agencies and referral sources to better serve clients<\/li>\t\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Agency Compliance<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Maintain comprehensive and organized files utilizing the automated case management system <\/li>\r\n<li>Adhere to the agency\u2019s confidentiality policies, maintaining a high level standard of confidentiality <\/li>\r\n<li>Compile and accurately report all applicable program statistics on time and as directed  <\/li>\r\n<li>Report any known or suspected child abuse to immediate supervisor <\/li>\r\n<li>Report any suspicious activity or persons <\/li>\r\n<li>Attend and participate in agency staff meetings and trainings <\/li> \r\n<li>Report to work on time as scheduled <\/li>\r\n<li>Maintain a valid driver license and proof of required automobile insurance <\/li>\r\n<li>Perform all other duties and\/or participate in special projects as assigned by direct supervisor or Chief Executive Officer. <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3 class=\"marg-top\">Other Duties<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Participate in hurricane evacuation and facility preparation.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>In case of emergencies will be required to assist with 24-hour shelter coverage<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Work in conjunction with other program components and staff to ensure effective communication of agency and client concerns, recommendations, and needs. \r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Apply NowSend resumes to jobs@gccfn.orgor fax 228-435-0513 Attn: KimSTATUS: Non-exempt LOCATION: Porter IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Sexual Assault Program Manager HOURS: : Full-Time 40-hour work week Monday &#8211; Friday, some evening and weekend work may be required.
