This is the Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Course that prepares the Registered Nurse to practice as a SANE Trained Nurse. The content will benefit anyone that comes in contact with victims of violence, specifically those that experience a sexual assault. Components of the course include: • anatomy/physiology • strangulation • forensic photography • medical management • trauma informed care • psychological aspects of sexual assault All licensed Medical Professionals must have an unencumbered Medical License and be in good standing with their State Licensure Board. Classes March 2-6, 2026, 8am to 5:30pm.
